Before the waters off Andrew Molera were closed to all fishing or diving, Amadeo and his friends used to paddle their kayaks out and spearfish for the highly sought after Vermilion. This piece of the view looking back toward the coast of Big Sur was done was done in memory of one of his friends, who he dove there with a couple times.
