Great White Shark Over Nautical Charts

The Great White Shark (Carcharodon carcharias) is the world's largest known predatory fish. They're aggressive, muscular, and have 300 teeth yet don't chew their food— they rip their prey into mouth-sized pieces and swallow them whole! Their muscular, torpedo-shaped body allows them to cruise for long periods, then suddenly switch to high speed bursts in pursuit of prey. They can grow up to 23 feet long and are found in the coastal surface waters of all major oceans. They feed on a broad spectrum of prey, from small fish to large seals and even dolphins.
