The California Spiny Lobster (Panulirus interruptus) can be found in the eastern Pacific Ocean from Monterey Bay, California, to the Gulf of Tehuantepec, Mexico. Their notoriety as excellent table fare has made them a favorite for ocean foragers since people settled the coastlines south of Pt. Conception. We think they are amazingly beautiful as well.
